The level of fitness required to go for a hike in Morocco depends on the chosen hike itself. Therefore, it is recommended that you carefully choose a trail that matches your level of fitness and experience.  

Our hiking tours are designed for different skill levels, ranging from easy to hard, with easy being suitable to everyone including kids and older people, and hard that requires some physical training prior to the activity as it may include height climbing and require the right gear according to the weather.

The size of each trekking group may vary based on the nature of the itinerary. However, we do provide tailored excursions for individuals or small groups. Typically, our hiking groups have a maximum size of 20 individuals, ensuring a personalized and enjoyable experience. Certain itineraries may permit a slight variation, but our goal is to maintain a group size that allows for a more intimate and customized adventure.

Morocco is typically a secure country to visit as long as you recognize its legal guidelines and cultural customs and observe the rules. Furthermore, our experienced local guides know the region and can ensure your safety so that you may have a secure and enjoyable journey exploring Morocco’s beautiful landscapes.

In general, it’s advisable to pack a backpack or day bag for your daily hikes, comfortable hiking shoes or boots (depending on the trip), suitable clothing (including lightweight and quick-drying shorts, pants, short and long sleeve shirts), additional warm layers (such as a down jacket on occasion), and waterproof gear. We also highly recommend bringing walking poles, as they can be very helpful on steep uphill climbs and extended downhill descents.

Yes! You can go hiking or trekking in the Anti-Atlas mountains during winter. However, it’s important to note that it can be quite cold during this time of year. Therefore, it’s essential to be well-prepared for cold weather conditions. It’s also important to bring warm clothing and gear such as jackets, gloves, hats, and boots to stay warm and comfortable throughout your hike.
